This die set bends 1" square tube on a 4" centerline radius, up to 110°, which covers standard 90° bends with room for springback. It sits in the middle of our 1" square tube lineup (3", 4", 5" and 6" CLR). 1" square tube is commonly used for furniture, carts, racks and small trailer parts.

It's rated for .065"–.120" wall in mild steel, chromoly, aluminum and stainless. The low end of that range is the thinnest wall that bends cleanly on this radius. Every 1" square tube die we make has the same wall range, so you can choose the radius by the shape you want. We also make 1" square tube dies in 3" CLR, 5" CLR and 6" CLR.

Need to bend past 110°? The 240° version of this 1" square x 4" CLR die bends all the way to 180°.

Each set includes the radius die, follower block, U-strap and U-strap pin, and it fits every JMR bender, manual or hydraulic. Lube isn't required, but a little on the follower (not the radius die) gives cleaner bends. Made in the USA, with a limited lifetime warranty against breakage when used within its rated size and wall.

What benders will this fit?
Our dies fit every jmr bender, manual or hydraulic. customers have also used our dies in pro-tools, woodward, eastwood and jd2 model 3 benders, but we cannot guarantee the fit on any other brand.
What comes in a die set?
Four pieces: the radius die, the follower block, the u-strap and the u-strap pin.
Should i get the 120 or the 240 degree die?
A 120 degree die bends up to 110 degrees after springback, and a 240 degree die bends up to 180 degrees. choose the 240 if you need u-bends or returns. otherwise the 120 costs less.
How do i choose a centerline radius?
If you are trying to match an existing weldment, use our printable radius template. for new bends, use our clr recommendation page, or check the specs on each die for your desired material to see if you're within range.
Can i bend round tube with this die?
No. this die is cut for 1" square tube. round tube and pipe need their own dies.
Do i need lubricant?
We recommend using lubricant because it improves bend quality. use lubricant on the follower block only, never on the radius die.
What warranty does it come with?
Our dies come with a limited lifetime warranty. it covers the die against breakage when it is used within its listed material size and wall thickness.
