This die set bends 1-1/2" square tube on a 5" centerline radius, up to 110°, which covers standard 90° bends with room for springback. It's the tightest radius we make for 1-1/2" square tube, so it keeps bends compact where space is short. 1-1/2" square tube is commonly used for furniture frames, gates, racks and cart or trailer parts.
It's rated for .078"–.120" wall in mild steel, chromoly, aluminum and stainless. The low end of that range is the thinnest wall that bends cleanly on this radius. If you're bending thinner wall, our 6" CLR (down to .065") and 7" CLR (down to .058") 1-1/2" square tube dies go lower.
Need to bend past 110°? The 240° version of this 1-1/2" square x 5" CLR die bends all the way to 180°.
Each set includes the radius die, follower block, U-strap and U-strap pin, and it fits every JMR bender, manual or hydraulic. Lube isn't required, but a little on the follower (not the radius die) gives cleaner bends. Made in the USA, with a limited lifetime warranty against breakage when used within its rated size and wall.

We completed the racing dies for our hydraulic bender, All dies are of high quality and precision. Just remember to use a good amount of oil when making tight radius bends.

I got the 6 inch clr die for 1 inch tubing and it worked really well. the only issue i had was that the hole on the aluminum block was slightly undersized for the pins that I have on my bender. I have the trick tools bender and the pins were about 0.010 too big. A little but of sanding made it all work out fine though.
